Our story didn’t begin as a business plan.
It began with a wave… and a simple moment at the beach.
Alicia first came to Morocco as a guest, searching for sunshine, surf, and something different from everyday life. Samad was already there, working as a surf instructor, sharing his passion for the ocean with travelers from around the world.
What started with a few shared surf sessions, laughs in the water, and long talks at sunset slowly turned into something deeper.
A connection.
A partnership.
A dream.
Today, we are not only life partners; we are partners in creating Cool Wave Morocco, a place built with heart, experience, and the desire to offer the kind of surf camp we once wished to find ourselves.

Samad grew up connected to the ocean and has many years of experience working in different surf camps, hotels, and beach communities around Tamraght and Taghazout Bay.
Surfing for him is not just a sport; it’s a lifestyle.
With patience, clarity, and a natural understanding of people, he knows exactly how to help each guest progress step by step. Whether it’s your very first wave or you’re improving your turns, Samad focuses on making you feel:
